These Mortars & Pestles are made of naturally occurring Agate Stone, which essentially is an amorphous form of ADARSH.
Due to its inherent physical characteristics our Agate Mortar & Pestle it is quite hard.
The hardness on the Moh’s scale is 6.5. Adarsh Brand Agate Mortars & Pestles are recommended for use in laboratories demanding contamination-free results.
