These autoclaves are made of 10 gauge aluminum. The drum is deep drawn & the ring on top is riveted. The lid is made by casting. Locking of lid by 6 nuts with rubber gasket seal in between (not metal to metal seal). Two safety valves, pressure gauge, flexible metal rubbing to exhaust air. Includes outer stand, inner aluminum container, inner tripod stand.

Blood Collection Vials (VACUTAINER) Plain/EDTA
Blood collection and storage is done is special tubes which allow the preservation of the blood sample over long periods.
These tubes can be made of glass or plastic and the caps of these vials are coloured to indicate the additives in them.
Some of the additives are anticoagulants such as EDTA, sodium citrate or heparin.
Other substances include preservatives. The containers containing coagulants are capped with gold, red or orange caps.
The ones containing anti-coagulants are green, which contain heparin, purple or lavender indicates ones which contain EDTA, grey capped tubes contain sodium fluoride or oxalate. Blood collection tubes (also called as vacutainers) are extensively used in hospitals, medical centres and diagnostic centres.
In biological labs, it is used in experiments like haemolysis etc.

Features
Digital timer with 1 second resolution. Accurate time out provided by microprocessor based time totalizer. Baskets move Up & Down as per IP/USP test specifications. Temperature Controlled by sensitive thermostats. Digital Tablet Disintegration Apparatus is designed for accurate estimation of disintegration time of tablets as per IP/USP standards. The instrument is designed to test to batches of six tablets, simultaneously. The unit consists of two beakers having capacity of 1000 cc each. In these beakers, suitable disintegration media can be taken. These can be temperature controlled using a in-built heater and a highly thermostat fitted inside the instrument. The old method of separate desiccator and the huge vacuum pump is replaced with the new Leak Test Apparatus in GMP Stainless Steel Body with phenomenal compactness.
The instrument is equipped with Diaphragm type vacuum pump gives the higher level of vacuum in shortest possible time.
Die pressed polycarbonate vacuum desiccator sustains vacuum for a long time.
A vacuum gauge is provided to indicate vacuum level which is connected to isolation valve to disconnect the source.
Thus avoiding the need of continues running of the vacuum pump.

Sterility Test Apparatus (S.S Manifold)
It consists of Stainless steel holders in the manifold of 3 of 6 to hold 47 mm dia membrane filters, the tops of the holders are connected to the outlets of flushing tube with silicone tubing and glass top cock.
A vacuum resistant flask or wolf bottle must be placed between the manifold and vacuum pump.
(Supplied without wolf bottle and vacuum/pressure pump).
These units are used for sterility testing when the membranes filter is to be removed from the holder for incubation in culture media.
Filtration area is 12.5 cm and has a holding capacity of 250ml.
Though the only vacuum is required for filtration, some pressure is required for flushing liquids.
