Water Still with Metal Heater
Specifications
Water stills are carefully designed to produce high purity pyrogen free distilled water.
The water still made from 3.3 exp. borosilicate glass comprises of horizontal type boiler, condenser, constant level device, silica sheathed heater, along with stand and clamps.
Features
Borosilicate condenser and boiler are with a removable silica sheathed heater and screw threaded connectors for ease of Cleaning.
Distillate temperature is approx. between 25° to 45°C which is ensured by an efficient condenser.
The stand is powder coated for rust free operation and lustrous appearance.
The unit automatically switches off if water level in the boiler falls below heater.
Cooling water from the condenser is re-circulated into the boiling chamber, hence saving energy.
Drain nozzle/Teflon Stop Cork is provided for easy cleaning and maintenance.
Electrical Power: 220/240 V, 50/60Hz, Single Phase Supply.

Sterility Test Apparatus (S.S Manifold)
It consists of Stainless steel holders in the manifold of 3 of 6 to hold 47 mm dia membrane filters, the tops of the holders are connected to the outlets of flushing tube with silicone tubing and glass top cock.
A vacuum resistant flask or wolf bottle must be placed between the manifold and vacuum pump.
(Supplied without wolf bottle and vacuum/pressure pump).
These units are used for sterility testing when the membranes filter is to be removed from the holder for incubation in culture media.
Filtration area is 12.5 cm and has a holding capacity of 250ml.
Though the only vacuum is required for filtration, some pressure is required for flushing liquids.

Sieve Shaker (Gyratory Motion)

BOD Incubator
Specification
BOD Incubator is designed for low temperature incubation and determination of Bio Chemical Oxygen Demand (B.O.D). The BOD Incubator comes with a double wall construction. The Inner chamber is made of richly anodized aluminum or highly polished stainless steel with two / three removable perforated shelves. The exterior chamber of the BOD Incubator is made of thick mild steel sheet duly finished in enamel paint. Outer double wall door is provided with magnetic gasket and lock & key arrangement. The inner door is made out of clear acrylic sheet allowing inspection of material in the chamber without disturbing the chamber temperature. Door operated inner illumination has been provided. The gap between walls of equipment are filled with glass wool for temperature insulation. The cabinet is mounted on castors. The temperature in the BOD Incubator is controlled by a sensitive thermostat from 5oC to 50oC ± 1oC. For lower temperature working, a standard cooling unit with sealed compressor with protective devices has been provided below the chamber for safe and efficient working. Heating arrangement has made within the chamber for higher temperature.
