Investigation With Mirrors Kit

Description

To Conduct basic experiments on the reflection of light from flat mirrors. The kit shows how adjacent mirrors reflect multiple images and demonstrates the principles of the periscope and kaleidoscope. The unit contains all the materials for the construction of a periscope and a kaleidoscope, including two sets of mirrors, mirror supports, and tubes. With instructions for assembly activity guide.

Large Rectangular Transparent Tank

Description

Clear plastic, approx. 600 x 200 x 75 mm for use in wave motion and ray optics demonstrations

Laser Reflection and Refraction Tank

Description

Laser Reflection and Refraction Tank demonstrates the principle of reflection and refraction. The clear circular acrylic tank has a circular scale graduated on the white base of the tank, making it easy to measure angles. Adjust the pivot-arm mounted laser to any angle along its full 360° range and measure the angle of reflection or refraction. Rotate the laser and observe first a reflected ray, then both a reflected and refracted ray, and finally just a refracted ray. Leveling screws on the tank’s base make leveling quick and easy. The laser is attached to the pivot-arm by a magnet and can be removed for use in other experiments. Instructions included.
