Description
Reads to 6 minutes of arc (0.1°) 170 mm diameter metal scale graduated 360° x 1°, independently rotatable, with locking screw, vernier attached to the telescope reads to 0.1° (6 minutes of arc). Collimator is mounted on a fixed pillar, with an achromatic objective of 150 mm focal length and 21 mm aperture, and has an adjustable slit 6 mm long. The telescope is on a movable pillar, with a fine adjustment screw, an achromatic objective of 170 mm focal length, 21 mm aperture, Ramsden eye-piece and glass crosswire graticule. Both collimator and telescope have spiral focusing system and have axis adjusting arrangement. The table has 3 leveling screws, with lines marked to assist prism placement. With prism and grating holders, one small screw driver and one Tommy bar for axis adjustment Without prism.

Optical Disc
Description
A 500 mm diameter disc marked every 5° is mounted on a heavy stand and is rotatable around its centre. It can be held in any desired position. The lamp house, with a 12V 24 W special filament lamp has rotatable slots to provide light beams of varying widths and also narrow single, double and triple beams. Attached to the lamp house is an adjustable lens carrier with lens to provide diverging, parallel or converging light beams which are clearly visible in classroom. The lamp house can be held in any desired position around the disc. Optical elements are two 50 x 25 mm plane glass mirrors, and a metallic cylindrical mirror, each mounted in a holder, for reflection. For refraction, 20 mm thick acrylic semi-circular block, bi-convex lens, bi-concave lens each 140 mm long and a trapezium with 125 mm base are provided. Each of these elements has embedded magnets to hold on to the disc.

Venturimeter Orificemeter Calibration Set Up
DESCRIPTION:-
The apparatus consists of two pipelines emerging out from a common manifold. One pipeline contain a Venturimeter, second contains an Orifice. The pressure tapings from the Venturimeter and Orificemeter are taken to differential manometer to measure pressure difference. The Venturimeter and Orificemeter are connected in parallel and anyone of them can be put in operation by operating valves provided at the downstream. These valves can also regulate the flow. Present Set-up is self contained water re-circulating unit, provided with a sump tank and a centrifugal pump. Flow control valve and by-pass valve are fitted in water line to conduct the experiment on different floe rate. Flow rate of water is measured with the help of measured with the help of measuring tank and stop watch.EXPERIMENTS:-

The diffuser guide allows solid matter to travel down the top ridges of a 50% incline, passing over a urine port, and into a fecal collection vessel. Apparatus for Verification of Clarke’s Maxwell Reciprocal Theorem
Apparatus consist of a mild steel beam 100cm long and 1.25cm x 4mm in cross section with graduations at every 10cm along the length. It should be supported on two knife edge supports 70cm apart with a 30cm overhang on one side. Reciprocal theorem can be verified by direct measurements of the deflections of various points with the help of a dial gauge due to a load placed at the reciprocal points. A dial gauge with 25mm travel (with a magnetic base) should be supplied with the apparatus. Apparatus to be supplied should be complete with a supporting stand and a set of weights.
