This Trainer Consist of :

Specification
Orbital shaking incubator cum B.O.D incubator is specifically designed to controlled incubation with orbital shaking arrangement with powerful geared motor for many labotatory procedures such as tissue culture, fermentations studies, enzyme reactions, growth studies etc. The outer chamber is made up of M.S sheet duly powder coated & inner chamber is made of thick S.S. sheet. The gap between wall is fitted with high grade glass wool to avoid thermal loss. The plexi glass window provided to inspect the specimen without disturbing the inner temp. The incubator is illuminated with one door operated or panel operated flurescent tube. The unit has a temp. Range from 5°C to 60°C. The temperature is controlled by Dual Display Microprocessor PID Temperature Indicator cum Controller with a accurancy of + 0.5°C. Air circulation fan is provided to maintain stability throughout. The speed of shaker is variable from 30 RPM to 250 RPM. The tray of the shaker is also made of S.S sheet with lotus type clamps to hold flasks. DESCRIPTION:-
A pontoon is allowed to float in a small tank having a transparent side. Removable steel strips placed in the model for the purpose of changing the weight of the model. Displacement of weight is measured with the help of a scale. By means of a pendulum (consisting of a weight suspended to a long pointer) the angle of tilt can be measured on a graduated arc. For tilting the ship model, a cross bar with two movable hangers is fixed on the model. Pendulum and graduated arc are suitably fixed at the center of the cross bar. A domestic electricity meter adopted to operate single-phase 2, wire C1.2mAx8.33 A 12V 50 Hz. 0.01 rev./J and dials reading in joules. The meter is mounted on a wooden bench stand input and output socket terminals. The aluminium disc rotates once for every 100 Joules with the consumption recorded on three digits calibrated 100, 1000 and 10000 joules per division respectively. The instrument records a maximum of 99,900 Joules.

Shear Centre Apparatus
Apparatus consists of sturdy base frame and Channel, Equal angle, Semicircle and Z-Section are supplied with apparatus. Standard length of each of the four sections in M. S. is supplied. Each is provided with end clamp for fixing to the rigid bracket. A special load hanger is provided so as to change the load position so that with the help of two dial-gauges, the vertical plane of Shear-centre for the particular section can be determined.
