The VIBLAB is designed to help in conducting various experiments to illustrate and verify the principles and relations involved in the study of vibrations.
This apparatus enables a comprehensive range of Vibration Experiments to be conducted on single basic framework. The frame is robustly constructed from channel section. The experiments are specially designed for quick and easy assembly on to the framework using a minimum amount of common engineering tools. To reduce changeover time on tube more advanced free and forced vibration experiments, large knurled knobs are used to clamp components on the frame and many components are common to several experiments.

Microprocessor Photo Colorimeter
Microprocessor Photo Colorimeter is a compact and easy to operate instrument for Photo Colorimeter analysis of any concentration.
The output is available on a 16 x 2 line alphanumeric backlit LCD display in terms of %Transmission (%T), Absorbance (Abs.), Concentration (Conc.) and K Factor.
This instrument has 100 sample storage memory and printer output facility for printing data with any dot matrix printer.
The use of microcontroller has made it extremely versatile and accurate instrument.
10 mm path length matched test tubes are used for sample and blank.
The use of high class standard wide range glass filters covering 400 to 700 nm give extremely good results.
The filter setting is controlled by a rotating disc having 8 filters.
An automatic shutter is provided to stop the light reaching the photocell, when test tube is not inserted in the tube holder.
This increases the life of photocell tremendously.
Facility has been provided to store the last K Factor and the standard concentration value.
User can also enter any known ‘Factor’ for a test, thereby eliminating the need to re-run the standards again and again.

Force on a Conductor Balance
Description
To demonstrate that when a current is passed through a conductor in a magnetic field, it is subjected to attraction or repulsion depending upon the direction of current in it. The apparatus consists of a plastic base 160 x 140 mm on which two contact pillars are mounted. Each pillar is provided with an external circuit. A balanced beam is supported by the pillars on two bearings which form the fulcrum. Two screwed masses are provided in the beam system, one moving vertically for the adjustment of sensitivity and the other moving horizontally for the adjustment of the equilibrium position, when no current is flowing. An anti-lock braking system (ABS) is a safety system that prevents the wheels on a motor vehicle from locking up (or ceasing to rotate) while braking. A rotating road wheel allows the driver to maintain steering control under heavy braking by preventing a skid and allowing the wheel to continue interacting tractively with the road surface as directed by driver steering inputs. ABS offers improved vehicle control and decreases stopping distances on dry and especially slippery surfaces for many drivers, but on loose surfaces like gravel and snow-on-pavement it can slightly increase braking distance, while still improving vehicle control. Stopping a car in a hurry on a slippery road can be very challenging. Anti-lock braking systems (ABS) take a lot of the challenge out of this sometimes nerve-wracking event. In fact, on slippery surfaces, even professional drivers can’t stop as quickly without ABS as an average driver can with ABS.
Centrifugal Blower Test Rig
The apparatus consists of a spiral casing, which houses an impeller. Impeller is driven by a variable speed D.C. motor. Three, interchangeable impellers, viz. Radial forward and Backward curved vanes are provided with the unit. Digital indicators are provided for speed of impeller. A venture provided measures the discharge. Thus students can evaluate the performance of different impellers at various speeds.
