The model is a simulative right half of adult torso with right arm. There are apparent anatomical marks: clavicle suprasternal notch, stenocleidomastoid muscle, pectoralis major muscle, ribs and deltoid muscle. Lifelike veins: Superior vena cava, internal jugular vein, subclavical vein, cephalic vein, basilic vein and median cubital vein etc. With apparent anatomical marks, the model can be used to train puncture and catheterization of internal carotid vein, subclavical vein, cephalic vein and heart catheterization. To determine co-efficient of expansion of a gas at constant pressure. A glass U-tube with a bulb and stopcock at one end, the other limb being open. An outlet tube from the bottom of the U tube passes through a rubber bung and has a stopcock at the end. The stem below the bulb is graduated 3 x 0.1 ml. An inlet tube with a mohr clip also passes through the bung. A glass water jacket encloses the U tube. All glass parts made of borosilicate glass requires only 20 ml mercury, which is not included.

DESCRIPTION:
Apparatus consist of an angle of size 1” x 1” x 1/8” or in equivalent metric units of length 80cm is tied as a cantilever beam. The beam is fixed at one end such that the rotation of 450 intervals can be given and clamped such that the principal axis of its cross-section may be inclined at any angle with the horizontal and vertical planes. Also arrangement is provided to apply vertical load at the free end of the cantilever and to measure horizontal and vertical deflection of the free end. The Permeability cup consists of a cup, seal ring and cover ring.
The seal ring is designed to prevent turning when closing the cover.
The Permeability cup is suitable for testing both self-supporting coating and non-self-supporting coatings. Water-vapor transmission is of interest for high humidity conditions.
The wet cup method is thus the reference method for determining water-vapor transmission, if agreed up on otherwise, other procedures or conditions the dry cup method may be used.
