This trainer board is designed to verify the truth table of various logic functions, to prove De-Morgan’s theorem, Half adder and Full adder by using logic gates. Consisting of a metal rod, 500mm in length and 4.5mm diameter, enclosed in a well lagged, nickle plated brass tube with three tubules for steam, inlet, outlet and thermometer.
The metal rod to be studied is supported in the steam jacket by detachable conical cups situated at each end of the tube.
The apparatus is carried on a heavy gauge channel base at one end of which is an adjusting screw.
At the opposite end is a micrometer screw reading to 0.01mm for measuring the expansion.
Supplied complete with copper, brass & iron rods but without thermometer.

St. Louis Motor Demonstration
Description
Students can explore how a simple electric motor works by doing a series of investigations. This St. Louis motor can be adjusted so students can study the effect of voltage and position of the brushes on the commutator. The motor consists of a two pole DC armature. The brush holder, with two heavy binding post terminals, can be rotated for experiments. The permanent bar magnets, supported by clamps, can be adjusted to the desired location. This apparatus requires 4 D cell batteries with holder (not included) or a power supply and two connecting leads (not included).
