Centrifugal Blower Test Rig
The apparatus consists of a spiral casing, which houses an impeller. Impeller is driven by a variable speed D.C. motor. Three, interchangeable impellers, viz. Radial forward and Backward curved vanes are provided with the unit. Digital indicators are provided for speed of impeller. A venture provided measures the discharge. Thus students can evaluate the performance of different impellers at various speeds.

Permeability Cup
(S.S 304) 120mm Dia. Permeability cups for determining the water-vapor transmission of paints, varnishes, coatings, coating systems and related products.
The Permeability cup consists of a cup, seal ring and cover ring.
The seal ring is designed to prevent turning when closing the cover.
The Permeability cup is suitable for testing both self-supporting coating and non-self-supporting coatings. Water-vapor transmission is of interest for high humidity conditions.
The wet cup method is thus the reference method for determining water-vapor transmission, if agreed up on otherwise, other procedures or conditions the dry cup method may be used.

Dissolution Rate Test Apparatus
Description
Dissolution rate test apparatus is designed to carry out simultaneously SIX TESTS of dissolution rate of tablets & capsules as per USP standards. Dissolution Rate Test Apparatus consists of water bath made of transparent acrylic fitted with an inbuilt water circulation system. Machine has a DUAL TEMP. SENSOR system which controls both water bath temperature within +/- 0.1º C & senses the temperature of jars. The motor is digitally controlled to give speed between 20 to 160 RPM precisely within +/- 1 RPM. The micro-processor also have digital timer to control test timings from 00:01 to 99:59 (HH:MM). The machine is fitted with a LCD Display which keeps the user updated about the RPM, TIME & TEMPERATURE all the time. The unbreakable jars prevent accidents related to breakage & spilling of media in the lab. The jars have acrylic lids which allow passing of stirring shaft. Water stills are carefully designed to produce high purity pyrogen free distilled water. The water still made from 3.3 exp. borosilicate glass comprises of horizontal type boiler, condenser, constant level device, silica sheathed heater, along with stand and clamps.Features
Borosilicate condenser and boiler are with a removable silica sheathed heater and screw threaded connectors for ease of Cleaning. Distillate temperature is approx. between 25° to 45°C which is ensured by an efficient condenser. The stand is powder coated for rust free operation and lustrous appearance. The unit automatically switches off if water level in the boiler falls below heater. Cooling water from the condenser is re-circulated into the boiling chamber, hence saving energy.
