Description
Suitable for taking in field where the insects can be stretched on the spot and can securely be kept inside the box Teakwood frame with melamine lamination on top & MDF sheet bottom is nicely polished. Top & bottom lined with EVA sheet over which adjustable strips provided for stretching insects. Strips can be fixed at one place with fine screws and fly nuts. Cross Staff
Description
The Cross-Staff was used at sea from the beginning of the 16th century until the first half of the 18th century. It was used to measure the sun's altitude, especially at the meridian passage. With the knowledge of the sun's declination, the mariner could then obtain his latitude. The staff is original, with the inscription. The cross pieces are replicas. These devices use an electromagnet which activates a striker, producing dots via a carbon disk on the ticker tape.
With 4mm terminal sockets.
The dots are produced at a rate of 50 - 60Hz depending on the mains frequency.
There are 6V and 12v units available.
The Ticker Tape Timers are used in the measurement of velocity, acceleration and general timing.
Numerical System
This panel is used to demonstrate the number systems such as binary, decimal and hexadecimal numbers. Toggle switches used to activate the displays showing the particular number entered. Input may be entered either as decimal or binary numbers with a toggle switch for mode selection. Decimal numbers are shown on a three digit seven segment LED display. 12 V / 2 A DC adaptor is required to operate it.

DESCRIPTION:-
The Set-up consists of two sided clear fabrication. Water is fed through a nozzle and discharged vertically to strike a target carried on a stem, which extends through the cover. A weight carrier is mounted on the upper end of the stem. The dead weight of the moving parts is counter balanced by a compression spring. The vertical force exerted on the target plate is measured by adding the weights supplied to the weight pan until the mark on the weight pan corresponds with the level gauge. A total of two targets are provided a flat plat and a hemispherical cup.EXPERIMENTS:-
