Expansion Apparatus
Description
Two cast metal uprights, height 18 cm, fitted with two nickel plated rods supporting expansion bar of length 38 cm. Expansion bar is fixed to one upright and moves a pointer on the other, when heated With scale reading 0 to 90°, supplied with one each, aluminium, brass and iron expansion bars. Comprising two castmetal uprights linked by a pair of parallel plated metal support rods and supporting an expansion bar at the top. Supplied with expansion bars. Comprising two cast-iron uprights, height 18 cm linked by two nickel plated rods supporting on expansion bar, length 38 cm fixed to one upright and resting on a friction pointer placed at the other. Supplied with scale reading 0 to 90 deg and one each of aluminium, brass and iron expansion bars.
Demonstration Dynamo
Description
This model uses the same basic assembly as the motor, but is mounted on a baseplate 230 x 90 mm approx. which also carries a hand-drive pulley 120mm. diameter coupled to the smaller dynamo pulley by a rubber belt to give a step-up ration. Electrical output is via a pair of 4mm sockets. The model may also be used as a motor on a 6-8 V D.C. supply.

Discharge Over Notches Apparatus
DESCRIPTION:-
The Lab setup consists of a channel having sufficient length and width in which water is supplied from the bottom. Required Notch is fitted at one end of this channel .A hook gauge with Vernier scale is fitted to measure the height of fluid in flow channel. Arrangement for fixing interchangeable notches is made. Set of three brass notches, i.e. rectangular notch. 60 V notch & 45 V notch provided along with the set up. Present set – up is self –contained water re- circulating unit .provided with a sump tank and a centrifugal pump etc. Flow control valve and by-pass value are fitted in water line to conduct the experiment on different flow rate .Flow rate of water is measured with the help of measuring tank and stopwatch.EXPERIMENTS:-

Constant Volume Air Thermometer
