This a simple set up to study the various forces resolved during grinding operation, designed by sharp techno system for demonstration purpose for the students undergoing tool desing study. This unit works on octagonal ring method using strain gauge as a sensor. A two channel digital force indicator facilitates to measure both forces simulteniously.

Lagged Pipe Apparatus
Lagged Pipe Apparatus:
The apparatus consists of three concentric pipes mounted on suitable stand. The space between innermost and the middle pipe is fifed with a lagging material and the space between the middle and the outer most is filled with and other lagging material. The lagged pipe is heated with a cartridge heater inserted at the axle length of the pipe. Voltmeter and ammeter on the panel can measure the input to the heater. The intermediate temperatures can be measured by the thermocouples attached at the surfaces of the pipe. Thus the resultant conductivity of the materials can be found out.

Description
Ruhmkorff Coil produces pulses of high voltage spark from low voltage DC source (6 – 12 V DC). It is suitable for use with gas-filled discharge tubes, vacuum tubes, eudiometers and for general laboratory work. Includes an adjustable vibrator system, primary current polarity reversal, on-off switch, a capacitor enclosed in the box and special alloy contacts. Spark gap at the discharge points can be adjusted by sliding rods back and forth. Spark Length 15 mm.
