Features
• This trainer kit helps to design the circuits with logic sequence. • FRL unit receives air from compressor then filters, regulates & lubricates the air. • 5/2 direction control valve provided to control the double acting cylinder. • 3/2 direction control valve provided to control the single acting cylinder. • One way flow control valves provided to control the air flow. • Magnetic read switches are provided to indicate the position of the cylinder. • Control module controls the direction control valves using Switches, Relays and Timer.
Sterling Engine Working Model
The Stirling engine was invented by Robert Stirling, a Scottish minister, in 1816. A Stirling engine is a heat engine that operates by cyclic compression and expansion of air or other gas, the working fluid, at different temperature levels such that there is a net conversion of heat energy to mechanical work.

Composite Walls Apparatus
Composite Walls Apparatus:
The apparatus consists of a pair of M.S. plates, Bakelite, brass/aluminum. These plates in series on either side of the heater form a composite wall. The whole unit is clamped in a frame, which can be viewed through the Perspex sheet. The thermocouple tapings enables us to find out the conductivity and resistance of the composite walls.

Description
The apparatus demonstrates the principle of Electromagnetic Induction and helps explain the concept of a transformer. Primary and Secondary coil consist of coils mounted on plastic spools, with 2 binding posts on each coil. You can slide the primary coil inside the secondary coil. Also includes a soft iron core for induction experiments. Primary coil has 480 turns while secondary coil has 3800 turns. Requires a galvanometer and bar magnets, not supplied with apparatus.

Curved Member Apparatus
Apparatus consists of a steel bar which is used to make the different curved members Viz. circle, semicircle with straight arm, a quadrant of a circle and quadrant of a circle with straight arm. The bottom ends of the members are fixed to the base. Under the application of load at free end, its horizontal and vertical deflection can be measured with the help of dial gauges. A dial gauge with 25mm travel (with a magnetic base) is supplied with the apparatus. Apparatus to be supplied should be complete with a supporting stand and a set of weights.

BOD Incubator

BOD Incubator is designed for low temperature incubation and determination of Bio Chemical Oxygen Demand (B.O.D). The BOD Incubator comes with a double wall construction. The Inner chamber is made of richly anodized aluminum or highly polished stainless steel with two / three removable perforated shelves. The exterior chamber of the BOD Incubator is made of thick mild steel sheet duly finished in enamel paint. Outer double wall door is provided with magnetic gasket and lock & key arrangement. The inner door is made out of clear acrylic sheet allowing inspection of material in the chamber without disturbing the chamber temperature. Door operated inner illumination has been provided. The gap between walls of equipment are filled with glass wool for temperature insulation. The cabinet is mounted on castors. The temperature in the BOD Incubator is controlled by a sensitive thermostat from 5oC to 50oC ± 1oC. For lower temperature working, a standard cooling unit with sealed compressor with protective devices has been provided below the chamber for safe and efficient working. Heating arrangement has made within the chamber for higher temperature. Hydraulic Ram Test Setup
DESCRIPTION:
The Set-up is designed to study the Hydraulic Ram. Hydraulic RAM is used for pump little quantity of water to high head from a large quantity of water available at low head. It works on a principle of water hammer stating that “When flowing water is suddenly stopped in a long pipe a pressure wave travels along the pipe creating an effect of water hammer”. The Set-up consists of a pipe section fitted with a pulse valve and non-return valve, a supply reservoir on a stand which is connected to an overhead tank, an air vessel above the valve chamber smoothes cyclic fluctuations from the Ram delivery. Different pressure may be applied to the pulse valve to change the closing pressure and hence the operating characteristic. The flow rate of useful and waste water is measured using measuring tank and stop watch provided. Pressure and Vacuum Gauge are connected on delivery and suction side for the purpose of measurement.EXPERIMENT:
