These devices use an electromagnet which activates a striker, producing dots via a carbon disk on the ticker tape.
With 4mm terminal sockets.
The dots are produced at a rate of 50 - 60Hz depending on the mains frequency.
There are 6V and 12v units available.
The Ticker Tape Timers are used in the measurement of velocity, acceleration and general timing.

Description
Reads to 6 minutes of arc (0.1°) 170 mm diameter metal scale graduated 360° x 1°, independently rotatable, with locking screw, vernier attached to the telescope reads to 0.1° (6 minutes of arc). Collimator is mounted on a fixed pillar, with an achromatic objective of 150 mm focal length and 21 mm aperture, and has an adjustable slit 6 mm long. The telescope is on a movable pillar, with a fine adjustment screw, an achromatic objective of 170 mm focal length, 21 mm aperture, Ramsden eye-piece and glass crosswire graticule. Both collimator and telescope have spiral focusing system and have axis adjusting arrangement. The table has 3 leveling screws, with lines marked to assist prism placement. Thermal Conductivity Of Metal Rod
The apparatus consists of a copper bar, which is heated at one end, a heat sink is provided at other end. The test section of bar is properly insulated and thermocouples are attached along the length of bar. Heat conducted through the section of bar is measured by heat collection in water-cooled heat sink. Reynold S Apparatus
DESCRIPTION:-
The Set-up is designed to verify Reynold’s Apparatus experimentally. The Apparatus consists of a glass tube which one end having bell mouth entrance connected to a water tank. At the other end of the glass tube a cock is provided to vary the rate of flow. Flow rate of water can be measured with the help of Measuring Cylinder and Stop Watch, supplied with the set-up. A capillary tube is introduced centrally in the bell mouth. To this tube dye is fed from a small container, placed at the top of Constant head Tank, through polythene tubing.EXPERIMENTS:-
