Turbine/Pump Unit
Description
For use as a water turbine to drive a generator producing electricity or for use as a pump driven by a motor and raising a head of water to produce potential energy. The rotor has eight 'bucket' blades and is housed in a block turbine chamber with a clear Perspex front. Two inlet tubules (for turbine and pump operation respectively) and one outlet tubule are provided and the shaft carries a 15 mm. diameter pulley. With driving belt.

These pair of photo gates is housed in tough moulded cases giving them excellent durability.
The lamps operate on 6 Volts with a special built in circuitry which prevents lamps from damage in case higher voltage is applied accidently.

Description
Auto Karl Fischer Titrimeter – 761 is an automatic apparatus designed to carry out Karl Fischer Titrations for accurate determination of moisture content in various samples. The instrument comprises of two units i.e CONTOL UNIT & TITRATION UNIT. The CONTROL UNIT controls the complete automatic titration. On pressing the START button, the titration starts and the KF reagent is added automatically from the burette, through a solenoid valve into the titration vessel. As soon as the end point is reached, the titration is stopped automatically by the Control Unit. It has fully solid state circuitry incorporating advanced IC technology. Water Cooling Tower Apparatus
The apparatus consists of a forced draught, counter flow type-cooling tower. A blower supplies cooling air. Air enters the tower at the bottom. Hot water is, obtained from a geyser. Hot water is sprayed over the mesh packing through the nozzles and it flows downwards. Evaporative cooling of water occurs due to the current of air and water gets cooled. Theramal Conductivity Of Insulating Slabs
The apparatus consists of a slab assembly. The main Heater and a radial guard heater are sandwiched between copper plates. The specimen in the form of slabs of equal thickness are placed on either sides of heaters and cooling plates through which water is circulated are on the other Sides of the specimen. The radial guard heater ensures all heat of the main heater to pass axially through the specimens which is collected by cooling plates. By knowing the temperatures and Heat input, thermal conductivity of specimen can be calculated. The test set up is enclosed in an enclosure with insulation inside to provide undisturbed Surroundings. The design style of the apparatus is similar to as recommended in INDIAN standard. The difference is in sizes.
