Description
All plugs are turned to a fine standard taper and are interchangeable. These are moulded in fluted plastic tops. The brass blocks are undercut and are fitted to a thick insulating plate. Heavy 4 mm brass terminals are used. Coils are non-inductively wound and are treated to be strain-free. Coil values are engraved on the plate and an infinity plug is also included. Air Conditioning Trainer General Cycle Type
The unit consists of ducting fitted with various air conditioning components. Airflow is generated by an axial flow fan and in the airflow, heaters, cooling coil and steam humidifier connection is provided. Cooling circuit consists of a hermetic compressor; air cooled condenser, thermostatic expansion valve and evaporator (i.e. cooling coil). A pontoon is allowed to float in a small tank having a transparent side. Removable steel strips placed in the model for the purpose of changing the weight of the model. Displacement of weight is measured with the help of a scale. By means of a pendulum (consisting of a weight suspended to a long pointer) the angle of tilt can be measured on a graduated arc. For tilting the ship model, a cross bar with two movable hangers is fixed on the model. Pendulum and graduated arc are suitably fixed at the center of the cross bar.
