Lagged Pipe Apparatus
Lagged Pipe Apparatus:
The apparatus consists of three concentric pipes mounted on suitable stand. The space between innermost and the middle pipe is fifed with a lagging material and the space between the middle and the outer most is filled with and other lagging material. The lagged pipe is heated with a cartridge heater inserted at the axle length of the pipe. Voltmeter and ammeter on the panel can measure the input to the heater. The intermediate temperatures can be measured by the thermocouples attached at the surfaces of the pipe. Thus the resultant conductivity of the materials can be found out.

Animal Cages
Available in two different sizes, the Animal Cages provide excellent shelter for different animal species in the laboratory.
The metallic top provides proper ventilation and has provisions for feeding the species.
Adding in line with the existing range, the Animal Cages are provided with a Stainless Steel grill at the bottom of the cage to provide a clean surface for the species to move on.

Coriollis Component Of Acceleration
This set up is designed to study coriollis component of Acceleration of a slider crank Mechanism. The apparatus uses hydraulic analogy to represent the rotating slider. It consists of a rotating block with two arms in opposite direction. These tubes can be rotated at various speeds by using a swinging field motor, which also acts as a dynamometer to measure torque applied to rotating tubes. A Perspex window on top cover helps to visualize the process. Rotameter is used to measure water flow rate through tubes. Water is circulated by small monoblaock pump.

DESCRIPTION:
The apparatus consists of a plain steel shaft encased in a bearing and directly driven by a small electric motor. The bearing is freely supported on the shaft and sealed at motor end. DESCRIPTION:
Cables are frequently used to support loads over large spans such as cable stayed for suspension bridges, cable car systems and stadium roof. They are used extensively for permanent guys on structures such as microwave towers and derricks. They are also used for temporary guys during erection. The only force in a cable is direct tension. They are too flexible to carry any moment. A cable is used to carry concentrated loads, uniformly distributed load along its length and uniformly distributed load along the horizontal span. It takes the shape of a polygon under concentrated loads, a catenary under uniform load along its length (such as its own weight), and a parabola under uniform load along the horizontal span.EXPERIMENT:
