Thermocouple Calibration Test Rig
The Unit helps in calibrating given thermocouple for the range 0°C to 100°C. While calibrating, thermocouple is once dipped in ice for 0Q C and then in boiling water for 100°C. This is done till the thermocouple shows the actual temperature of ice (0° C) and boiling wafer (100°C) and a linear calibration is set. A mV meter is provided to know the corresponding voltage.

Bending Moment & Shear Force Apparatus
INTRODUCTION:
Shear Forces occurs when two parallel forces act out of alignment with each other. For example, in a large boiler made from sections of sheet metal plate riveted together, there is an equal and opposite force exerted on the rivets, owing to the expansion and contraction of the plates. Bending Moments are rotational forces within the beam that cause bending. At any point within a beam, the Bending Moment is the sum of: each external force multiplied by the distance that is perpendicular to the direction of the force.EXPERIMENT MANUAL:

Description
Clinometer Handle Compass is a reproduction of an antique Clinometer compass. The Handle Compass gets its name from its "handle" shaped sight, which actually serves two purposes With the compass level, an object can be viewed through the peep sights to determine its magnetic heading. The second and most interesting purpose is when tilting the compass on its side and viewing an object through the sights, its angle of elevation or declination can be found. A weighted pendulous arm beneath the compass needle can be read from one of three scales : Angle in degrees beneath the zenith (from straight up), angle in degrees of elevation or declination, and in inches per yard of slope. Generation Of Involute Gear Tooth Profile
This board illustrates the process of cutting of involutes Gear Teeth, by use of rack type cutter It consists of 3 white acrylic discs A, B, C. having pitch circle diameter 450 mm, 300 mm & 200 mm respectively. A gear tooth profile with module 25mm can be traced out on a peace of paper placed between disc and cutter. An affect of Interference and Undercutting on correct profile of gear tooth can be studied from the profiles traced.
