Clinometer Compass
Description
Clinometer Handle Compass is a reproduction of an antique Clinometer compass. The Handle Compass gets its name from its "handle" shaped sight, which actually serves two purposes With the compass level, an object can be viewed through the peep sights to determine its magnetic heading. The second and most interesting purpose is when tilting the compass on its side and viewing an object through the sights, its angle of elevation or declination can be found. A weighted pendulous arm beneath the compass needle can be read from one of three scales : Angle in degrees beneath the zenith (from straight up), angle in degrees of elevation or declination, and in inches per yard of slope. The compass has a needle lift mechanism to protect the compass jewel and the pendulous arm when being transported.

Made of Polypropylene and Polycarbonate, these autoclavable vacuum desiccators can hold Vacuum upto 740 mm of Hg for 24 hrs.
The top dome, molded in rigid and transparent Polycarbonate, gives a crystal clear view of the desiccant placed inside.
The Knurled knob on the top provides easy handling of the dome.
The lower part is made of Polypropylene. An internal groove is provided on the flange to hold a silicon rubber O-ring.
The Polypropylene stopcock is fitted with a self lubricating PTFE plug.
This plug work three way i.e. Vacuum creation, shutting off & vacuum releasing.

Description
A domestic electricity meter adopted to operate single-phase 2, wire C1.2mAx8.33 A 12V 50 Hz. 0.01 rev./J and dials reading in joules. The meter is mounted on a wooden bench stand input and output socket terminals. The aluminium disc rotates once for every 100 Joules with the consumption recorded on three digits calibrated 100, 1000 and 10000 joules per division respectively. The instrument records a maximum of 99,900 Joules.

To construct an optical transmitter and transmission of signal through Fiber Optics Cable. To construct an Optical Receiver and study the Attenuation of Signal when transmitted from Transmitter to Receiver end. Analog and Digital link can also be studied as this unit is complete with Sine and Square Waves. Bending losses can also be studied.

Instrument comprises of Microphone Preamplifier stages consists of MIC (Microphone), Preamplifier and Amplifier (Voice is converted to electrical signal and then amplified) and fed to LED (Transmitter) and then through fibre cable, signal is sent to Photodetector (Transistor) and again amplifier and output is sent to Speaker Unit. Power Supply of +6 VDC is used in Amplifier ckt. 2 No. Fiber Optics cables are provided (one of them is 50 cm long and the other is 100 cm long). One more fiber cable of 50mm length having connector at one end is also provided. Connectors a both end of fiber cable are provided for insertion in sockets provided on the front panel. A Smart Energy Meter based on Analog Devices IC has been developed to build an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI). The AMI system facilitates networking capability via GSM, ZigBee and ModBus.
