Description

Description
The model is suitable for central venipuncture of internal carotid vein and subclavical vein and peripheric venipuncture (arm veins) of cephalic vein. The cervical veins and arm veins can be filled with simulative blood.Features:
The model is a simulative right half of adult torso with right arm. There are apparent anatomical marks: clavicle suprasternal notch, stenocleidomastoid muscle, pectoralis major muscle, ribs and deltoid muscle. Lifelike veins: Superior vena cava, internal jugular vein, subclavical vein, cephalic vein, basilic vein and median cubital vein etc. With apparent anatomical marks, the model can be used to train puncture and catheterization of internal carotid vein, subclavical vein, cephalic vein and heart catheterization. INTRODUCTION:
Shear Forces occurs when two parallel forces act out of alignment with each other. For example, in a large boiler made from sections of sheet metal plate riveted together, there is an equal and opposite force exerted on the rivets, owing to the expansion and contraction of the plates. Bending Moments are rotational forces within the beam that cause bending. Shell Tube Heat Exchanger Water To Water
Heat exchanger is the devices used to transfer the heat from one fluid to other. The shell and tube heat exchanger is two tube single pass heat exchanger. The hot fluid is hot water obtained from water heater. The coil fluid is cold water. The schematic flow arrangement is shown in figure. Hot water enters the lower side of end box, flows through the tubes in lower half of shell and comes to the other end of the shell. It reverses its direction, flows through tubes in upper half of the shell and leaves out. Cold water enters lower part of the shell passes over the tubes between the baffles and leaves out the shell through outlet at upper surface of shell.

Ripple Tank
Description :-
Transparent acrylic plastic ripple tank, supported in a sturdy plastic frame which has recesses to hold four legs with leveling feet.
The tank edges are shaped to minimize undesired reflections.
Tank has a drain hole closed by a rubber stopper.
With two light alloy uprights to carry a horizontal rippler support rod which is adjustable for height.
The ripple assembly, elastically suspended from the support rod, consists of a 4 – 6 V DC motor mounted on a wooden beam.
The motor has an eccentric weight which causes the beam to oscillate.
Two point sources are provided by two plastic spheres, each mounted on a right angle rod.
A metal rod is fixed centrally into a socket in one short side of the frame to afford support to the illuminant.

Rotary Pipette Stand
Moulded in Polypropylene, the unique Rotary Pipette Stand holds a maximum of 94 pipettes and rotates on a central vertical axis for convenient selection of any particular pipette.
The lower rotating disc has four concentric troughs with tapered sides and open bottoms that cradle the pipette tips protectively and permit water drops to run off.
The upper disc has a grid pattern concentric with the bottom disc and keeps the pipettes vertical.
Liquids draining off the pipettes are retained on the top of the stationary base by the outer ring.
