Prospector Tilting Level
Description
Size 178 mm /7 Internal focusing, anti reflection coated optics with tilting arrangement and Fitted with revolving horizontal circle graduated to read 6 minutes with vernier and a provision to preset zero degree quickly. The tilting drum is graduated to read 1 : 5000 is incorporated for fine adjustment and accuracy. Supplied with accessories and adjusting tools Packed in PVC Plastic box with Aluminium telescopic stand in carrying canvas cover.

Description
A quality collection of minerals, in wooden box, with partitioned tray containing 30 specimens, each numbered and enclosed in transparent plastics bag. Specimens may be removed from bags for detailed examination. Each speciman is labelled also on the inside of the box lid, indicating the geological name.

The Polypropylene tubes are clear and can withstand 3000 RCF during Centrifugation while the transparent Polystyrene tubes can withstand 1400 RCF.
The PP tubes can accept common acids, alkalis & solvents at room temperature while the PS tubes can accept mild bases, weak acids but not organic solvents.

Frequency Modulation And Demodulation
This Instrument is design to demonstrate the method to transmit signals via. Electromagnetic transmission and to study the Frequency Modulation and Demodulation. Whole instrument is placed in plastic moulded box and 2 mm banana plug leads are provided for modulation and demodulation connections.
Technical Specification:-
1. Fixed Output DC Regulated Power Supply of ±12 V.
2. Built in Modulating signal Generator of 2 KHz and 4 KHz selectable with a toggle switch with Amplitude to 3V peak to peak approximately.
3. Circuit diagrams for Modulator and Demodulator are printed on the milky white top panel
Ticker Tape Timer
For the measurement of velocity and acceleration, using timing marks made on a moving paper tape by a vibrating striker.
Designed to operate on a 12V A.C. supply and uses the mains frequency as its timing standard.
The unit is housed in a moulded case including mounting flanges.
The top of the case caries a tape guide which incorporates a carbon paper disc support and an adjustable anvil for the striker point.
All moving parts are fully enclosed and a pair of 4mm sockets are provided on the side of the case for connection of the electrical supply.
Supplied with a roll of self marking paper tape.
Paper tape : 100m of paper tape, 9.5mm wide.
Carbon Paper Discs : 40mm diameter, with 3mm hole, cut from long life plastic film type carbon paper.

Shell Tube Heat Exchanger Water To Water
Heat exchanger is the devices used to transfer the heat from one fluid to other. The shell and tube heat exchanger is two tube single pass heat exchanger. The hot fluid is hot water obtained from water heater. The coil fluid is cold water. The schematic flow arrangement is shown in figure. Hot water enters the lower side of end box, flows through the tubes in lower half of shell and comes to the other end of the shell. It reverses its direction, flows through tubes in upper half of the shell and leaves out. Cold water enters lower part of the shell passes over the tubes between the baffles and leaves out the shell through outlet at upper surface of shell.
