This apparatus enables a comprehensive range of Vibration Experiments to be conducted on single basic framework. The frame is robustly constructed from channel section. To reduce changeover time on tube more advanced free and forced vibration experiments, large knurled knobs are used to clamp components on the frame and many components are common to several experiments.

Seven Segment LED Display Circuit
A common anode seven segment module is fitted on a board with 8 bit dip switch to control the each segment of seven segment LED display. The inputs A-D of a display driver are connected to the binary coded decimal (BCD) outputs from a decade counter. Shell Tube Heat Exchanger Water To Water
Heat exchanger is the devices used to transfer the heat from one fluid to other. The shell and tube heat exchanger is two tube single pass heat exchanger. The hot fluid is hot water obtained from water heater. The coil fluid is cold water. The schematic flow arrangement is shown in figure. Hot water enters the lower side of end box, flows through the tubes in lower half of shell and comes to the other end of the shell. It reverses its direction, flows through tubes in upper half of the shell and leaves out. Cold water enters lower part of the shell passes over the tubes between the baffles and leaves out the shell through outlet at upper surface of shell.

Linear Air Track
Angular section aluminium alloy track, length 255cms, with staggered air holes, supported on two light alloy castings positioned 45 cm from each end of the track.
One support has a two- point contact and other one-point contact for lateral and horizontal adjustments for which a knurled screw is provided.
Large catapult arms with slots for elastic bands are fitted to each end of the track.
A fully fitted to one end of the track enables experiments involving acceleration under a constant force.
Identical end caps enable air to be introduced from either end of the track, bung being supplied to close the end not being used.
The vehicle buffer attachments and clamping screws are matt black to help interpretation of stroboscopic photographs.

DESCRIPTION:
The two hinged arch is a statically indeterminate structure of the first degree. The horizontal thrust is the redundant reaction and is obtained y the use of strain energy methods. Two hinged arch is made determinate by treating it as a simply supported curved beam and horizontal thrust as a redundant reaction.EXPERIMENT:
• To study experimentally a two hinged arch for the horizontal displacement of the roller end for a given system of loading and to compare the same with those obtained analytically. • To obtain the influence line ordinates for horizontal thrust experimentally in a two hinged arch by moving a load along the span and to compare the same with those obtained theoretically.TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION:
• Apparatus has a span of 100cm and rise 25cm. • Both ends should have hinge but one of the ends should also be free to move longitudinally. • A lever arrangement fitted at this end for the application of known horizontal inward force for measuring the horizontal thrust.
