Elastically Coupled Beam Apparatus
Apparatus consists of a three parallel bar suspension system with elastic beam at their upper and lower ends. The upper ends of the two outer suspension rods are tied to a vertical wooden board while central suspension rod may be tied to the centre of another elastic beam supported at two outer ends only. Description
The basic set-up of the colorimeter is: LED light source: Produces polychromatic light over the entire visible region, 45 Broad spectrum filter: The colorwheel has nine different filters. The filter employed is selected by wavelength. Each filter will produce monochromatic light at a specified peak wavelength with a bandpass of 20 mm. The filters enable the user to perform tests from 400 to 680 nm. Cuvette Holder: It holds the inserted cuvette during testing. It is imperative the cuvette be consistently oriented in the holder. Thermal Conductivity Of Metal Rod
The apparatus consists of a copper bar, which is heated at one end, a heat sink is provided at other end. The test section of bar is properly insulated and thermocouples are attached along the length of bar. Heat conducted through the section of bar is measured by heat collection in water-cooled heat sink.
