Open Wind Tunnel Apparatus
Technical Description
A wind tunnel is the classic experiment system for aerodynamic flow experiments. The model being studied remains at rest while the flow medium is set in motion, and thus the desired flow around the model is generated. Open wind tunnel used to demonstrate and measure the aerodynamic properties of various models. For this purpose, air is drawn in from the environment and accelerated. The air flows around a model, such as an aerofoil, in a measuring section. The air is then decelerated in a diffuser and pumped back into the open by a fan. The carefully designed nozzle contour and a flow straightener ensure a uniform velocity distribution with little turbulence in the closed measuring section. The flow cross section of the measuring section is square. The built-in axial fan with guide vane and a variable-speed drive is characterised by an energy-efficient operation at high efficiency. Air velocities of up to 28m/s can be reached in this open wind tunnel. The trainer is equipped with an electronic two-component force sensor.Lift and drag are detected and displayed digitally. The air velocity in the measuring section is displayed on the inclined tube manometer. The tube manometers is recommended for measuring the pressure curves in drag bodies. Extensive accessories allow a variety of experiments, for example lift measurements, pressure distributions, boundary layer analysis or visualisation of streamlines. Cross Staff
Description
The Cross-Staff was used at sea from the beginning of the 16th century until the first half of the 18th century. It was used to measure the sun's altitude, especially at the meridian passage. With the knowledge of the sun's declination, the mariner could then obtain his latitude. The staff is original, with the inscription. The cross pieces are replicas. Different cross pieces were used depending on the altitude. A different scale is on each side of the staff.

Vertical Pipette Stand
Our Vertical Pipette Stand imparts features such as Stable, Non-Corrosive, Detachable, etc.
The Vertical Pipette Stand, offered by us, can hold 28 pipettes with maximum diameter of 14mm.
The heavy base measures 225 mm in diameter and a Polpropylene coated square rod measuring 375 mm in length is screwed into the base of the top disc.
This disk can be fixed on the rod, which has holes for holding pipettes while the lower one has pilot holes where the pipette tips rest and liquids drain down to the base.
These discs can be adjusted on the rod according to the length of the pipette.
The arrows provided on the discs should be kept parallel to ensure that corresponding holes are being centered.

Lagged Pipe Apparatus
Lagged Pipe Apparatus:
The apparatus consists of three concentric pipes mounted on suitable stand. The space between innermost and the middle pipe is fifed with a lagging material and the space between the middle and the outer most is filled with and other lagging material. The lagged pipe is heated with a cartridge heater inserted at the axle length of the pipe. Voltmeter and ammeter on the panel can measure the input to the heater. The intermediate temperatures can be measured by the thermocouples attached at the surfaces of the pipe. Thus the resultant conductivity of the materials can be found out.
