The Polypropylene tubes are clear and can withstand 3000 RCF during Centrifugation while the transparent Polystyrene tubes can withstand 1400 RCF.
The PP tubes can accept common acids, alkalis & solvents at room temperature while the PS tubes can accept mild bases, weak acids but not organic solvents.

Description
This heavy duty demountable transformer can be used for the study of transformertheory and many other alternating current phenomena. This kit consists of: 1. A magnetic circuit made of highly permeable U shape metal sheet, which can be closed using two clamps with tightening screws. 2. Section: 40 x 40 mm with 150 mm length and 170 mm height. 3. Description
The Cross-Staff was used at sea from the beginning of the 16th century until the first half of the 18th century. It was used to measure the sun's altitude, especially at the meridian passage. With the knowledge of the sun's declination, the mariner could then obtain his latitude. The staff is original, with the inscription. The cross pieces are replicas. Different cross pieces were used depending on the altitude. A different scale is on each side of the staff.
