Motorised Gyroscope Apparatus
The apparatus consists of a rotor mounted in bearings. This rotor is free to rotate about
(i) Its own axis i.e. axis of spin.
(ii) Axis of precession.
(iii) Axis of gyroscopic couple.
The rotor is connected to the variable speed motor. The weight of the motor is balanced by another weight, which is on either side of the rotor. By putting weights on the weight platform torque can be supplied to rotor, which is also called gyroscopic couple.

Description
This heavy duty demountable transformer can be used for the study of transformertheory and many other alternating current phenomena. This kit consists of: 1. A magnetic circuit made of highly permeable U shape metal sheet, which can be closed using two clamps with tightening screws. 2. Section: 40 x 40 mm with 150 mm length and 170 mm height. 3. One coil of 6000 turns with maximum current of 0.2 A. Intermediary coil of 2000 turns output. 4. One coil of 600 turns with maximum current of 2.5 A, which is mainly used to create the primary of transformer. 5. One coil of 1200 turns with maximum current of 1.25 A, fitted with intermediary 400 and 800 turns outputs. 6. The perimeter is an instrument for accurate charting of the field of vision. It consists of. A vertical stand on which a metallic arc is pivoted. It also bear a circular black disc to read the meridian in which the arc in shape of a semicircle with radius 330 mm. Its rotating in any direction and fix at any position with a tightening screw. The arc is graduated from 0 to 90 with a movable test object which is a white color spot of size 10mm diameter painted on a circular disc it can be moved with arc. An adjustable chin rest and a detachable leveling bar is fixed in front of the metallic arc. A scale and circular chart frame to hold the chart paper in position is provided at the back of the circular disc. A metallic graduated scale with a movable pin-punch pointer is fixed to mark on the perimeter chart paper.
