Battery Cell Tester
It is apparatus for testing voltage of cells and batteries. It is a centre zero, fight weight voltmeter of low consumption having robust and compact construction, suitable for in-door and outdoor use. It is housed in steel tough bakelite case which can conveniently be held in one hand while testing. The movement is of the moving coil type and is sufficiently damped and comes to rest quickly. Range 3: 0-3 volts or any range as required.
Bridge Rectifier
Bridge Rectifier is made of four diodes connected in a bridge circuit. It is housed in a plastic moulded box. This bridge rectifier converts alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC). It provides the same output polarity for either input polarity. All the electronic devices require direct current, so bridge rectifiers are used inside the power supplies of almost all electronic equipment. For the easy understanding of the internal circuitry, the circuit diagram is printed on the box.
Solar Wind 3Φ, 2KW Smart Grid
This consists of 2 Microgrids of 2000W &1000W of power generation connected to a main Power Grid with all the components needed to convert a traditional Grid to a Smart so that many experiments can be conducted on this “Smart Grid”. A 3Φ 3KW isolation transformer with power input from utility grid will act as main grid to which 2 Microgrid will be connected through synchronizing panel. Optionally a commercial 3Φ, 2.5KVA Grid Commercial Solar Power Inverter can be added to this experimental setup. By adding 3Φ, 2.5KVA commercial solar inverter, when the experimental setup is not used by student, it may be used to generate power.

BOD Incubator
Specification
BOD Incubator is designed for low temperature incubation and determination of Bio Chemical Oxygen Demand (B.O.D). The BOD Incubator comes with a double wall construction. The Inner chamber is made of richly anodized aluminum or highly polished stainless steel with two / three removable perforated shelves. The exterior chamber of the BOD Incubator is made of thick mild steel sheet duly finished in enamel paint. Outer double wall door is provided with magnetic gasket and lock & key arrangement. The inner door is made out of clear acrylic sheet allowing inspection of material in the chamber without disturbing the chamber temperature. Door operated inner illumination has been provided. The gap between walls of equipment are filled with glass wool for temperature insulation. The cabinet is mounted on castors. The temperature in the BOD Incubator is controlled by a sensitive thermostat from 5oC to 50oC ± 1oC. For lower temperature working, a standard cooling unit with sealed compressor with protective devices has been provided below the chamber for safe and efficient working. Heating arrangement has made within the chamber for higher temperature. The apparatus consists of heating element on which the air is blown. The difference in temperature of air is shown by the temperature indicator. The flow of air is measured by the orifice meter. The input to the heater is measured by voltmeter and ammeter. Thus the specific heat of air can be found out.
