Behaviour Of Column Struts Apparatus
Apparatus consist of four spring steel columns which are put along a vertical wooden board. These four columns have different end conditions as below:
1. Both ends pinned
2. Both ends fixed
3. One end pinned and other fixed
4. One end fixed and other end free
Apparatus to be supplied should be complete with a supporting stand and a set of weights.

Digital Friability test apparatus is microprocessor based instrument designed to monitor the resistance of tablets to stresses and to decide their suitability for the further processes.
A fix 25 RPM Motor drives the unique Universal acrylic drum(same drum can be used at left or right side of the instrument).
Digital microprocessor based counter is provided to pre-set the revolution & to automatically stop the motor with alarm.
These features eliminate the tedious calculation of timer mode.
In Power failure, the memory of the microprocessor remembers the tie left and complete the cycle after power resumes.
Easy loading and unloading of the drum with positive grip is provided.
Unloading of the drum after every test is required to remove the traces of loose dust on the drum for accurate calculation of friability.

DESCRIPTION:
Francis Turbine is a reaction Turbine, which was developed by English born American Engineer Sir J.B. Francis. The water enters the turbine through the outer periphery of the runner in the radial direction and leaves the runner in axial direction and hence it is called a mixed flow turbine. As the water flows to the runner, a part of pressure energy goes on changing into kinetic energy. Thus the water through the runner is under pressure. The runner is completely enclosed in an air tight casing and the casing & runner is always full of water. The present Set-up consists of a runner. The water is fed to the turbine by Means of centrifugal Pump, radially to the runner. The runner is directly mounted on one end of a central SS shaft and other end is connected to a brake arrangement. The circular window of the turbine casing is provided with a transparent. The circular window of the turbine casing is provided with a transparent acrylic sheet for observation of flow on to the runner. The runner assembly is supported by thick cast iron pedestal. Load is applied to the turbine with the help of brake arrangement so that the efficiency of the turbine can be calculated. A draught tube is fitted on the outlet of the turbine. The Set-up is complete with guide mechanism. Pressure and vacuum Gauge are fitted at the Inlet and Outlet of the turbine to measure the total supply head on the turbine.UTILITIES REQUIRED:

Description
Humidifier based on the rotating disc-splash plate principal. It produces only super fine particles of micron size, which are part of the atmosphere, thereby reaching every corner of the room, causing and resulting in uniform humidity in the room. The apparatus consists of three concentric pipes mounted on suitable stand. The space between innermost and the middle pipe is fifed with a lagging material and the space between the middle and the outer most is filled with and other lagging material. The lagged pipe is heated with a cartridge heater inserted at the axle length of the pipe. Voltmeter and ammeter on the panel can measure the input to the heater. The intermediate temperatures can be measured by the thermocouples attached at the surfaces of the pipe. Thus the resultant conductivity of the materials can be found out.
