Generation Of Involute Gear Tooth Profile
This board illustrates the process of cutting of involutes Gear Teeth, by use of rack type cutter It consists of 3 white acrylic discs A, B, C. having pitch circle diameter 450 mm, 300 mm & 200 mm respectively. A gear tooth profile with module 25mm can be traced out on a peace of paper placed between disc and cutter. An affect of Interference and Undercutting on correct profile of gear tooth can be studied from the profiles traced.

Charle’s Law Apparatus
Description
To determine co-efficient of expansion of a gas at constant pressure. A glass U-tube with a bulb and stopcock at one end, the other limb being open. An outlet tube from the bottom of the U tube passes through a rubber bung and has a stopcock at the end. The stem below the bulb is graduated 3 x 0.1 ml. An inlet tube with a mohr clip also passes through the bung. A glass water jacket encloses the U tube. All glass parts made of borosilicate glass requires only 20 ml mercury, which is not included.

Seven Segment LED Display Circuit
A common anode seven segment module is fitted on a board with 8 bit dip switch to control the each segment of seven segment LED display. The inputs A-D of a display driver are connected to the binary coded decimal (BCD) outputs from a decade counter. A network of logic gates inside the display driver makes its outputs a-g become high or low as appropriate to light the required segments a-g of a seven segment display. Portal Frame Apparatus
DESCRIPTION:
Portal Frames used for the measurement of horizontal reaction are made stiffer by using M. S. flats rectangular cross section (10mm thick and 40mm wide). All are true to shape. The ends can be other fixed of hinged as desired. The end at which horizontal reaction, is to be measured, is provided with ball bearing rollers, which easily rolls on a smooth rolling platform. At the roller end a chord is attached which is connected further to spring balance. The spring balance records the horizontal reaction, for the measurement of slope and deflection. Both the columns of the portal frame can be clamped (fixed) or pivoted (hinged) and required.EXPERIMENT:
