Frequency Response Analysis of Lead Lag Network
Frequency response of Lead, Lag network using P+I+D controller is a special purpose analog simulation, create using operational amplifiers. This simulator permits a detailed analysis of the first order and second order systems on the application of proportional, integral and derivative control to the improvement of their performance. Seven Segment LED Display Circuit
A common anode seven segment module is fitted on a board with 8 bit dip switch to control the each segment of seven segment LED display. The inputs A-D of a display driver are connected to the binary coded decimal (BCD) outputs from a decade counter. A network of logic gates inside the display driver makes its outputs a-g become high or low as appropriate to light the required segments a-g of a seven segment display. A resistor is required in series with each segment to protect the LEDs

Forced Convection Apparatus
The unit consists of a circular pipe; loosing heat by forced convection to air, being forced through it. Constant heat flux is added to pipe by an electrical heater, provided with input control. The pipe surface temperature is measured at various points along length of pipe. Temperature of air at inlet and outlet of test section are measured. Thus the students can calculate local and overall heat transfer coefficients in forced convection, at various airflow rates and various heat flux values.
