BOD Incubator
Specification
BOD Incubator is designed for low temperature incubation and determination of Bio Chemical Oxygen Demand (B.O.D). The BOD Incubator comes with a double wall construction. The Inner chamber is made of richly anodized aluminum or highly polished stainless steel with two / three removable perforated shelves. The exterior chamber of the BOD Incubator is made of thick mild steel sheet duly finished in enamel paint. Outer double wall door is provided with magnetic gasket and lock & key arrangement. The inner door is made out of clear acrylic sheet allowing inspection of material in the chamber without disturbing the chamber temperature. Door operated inner illumination has been provided. The gap between walls of equipment are filled with glass wool for temperature insulation. The cabinet is mounted on castors. The temperature in the BOD Incubator is controlled by a sensitive thermostat from 5oC to 50oC ± 1oC. For lower temperature working, a standard cooling unit with sealed compressor with protective devices has been provided below the chamber for safe and efficient working. Heating arrangement has made within the chamber for higher temperature. Microprocessor Photo Colorimeter
Microprocessor Photo Colorimeter is a compact and easy to operate instrument for Photo Colorimeter analysis of any concentration.
The output is available on a 16 x 2 line alphanumeric backlit LCD display in terms of %Transmission (%T), Absorbance (Abs.), Concentration (Conc.) and K Factor.
This instrument has 100 sample storage memory and printer output facility for printing data with any dot matrix printer.
The use of microcontroller has made it extremely versatile and accurate instrument.
10 mm path length matched test tubes are used for sample and blank.
The use of high class standard wide range glass filters covering 400 to 700 nm give extremely good results.
The filter setting is controlled by a rotating disc having 8 filters.
An automatic shutter is provided to stop the light reaching the photocell, when test tube is not inserted in the tube holder.
This increases the life of photocell tremendously.

Bridge rectifier is designed with four LEDs internally arranged in bridge pattern fitted inside a plastic moulded case. Two LED’s are red and two LED’s are green.
