Constant Pressure Air Thermometer
Description
Jolly's thermometer bulb connected via a 3-way stopcock to mercury tube. Sliding indicator on right hand limb with reservoir sliding on vertical clamping rod. Metal vessel to surround the bulb. Mounted on wooden stand, height 740 mm. All glass parts except reservoir are made of borosilicate glass.
Resistor Set
Description
Consisting of six resisters of resistances with different current ratings. The resistors can be used in either the series or parallel mode. The resistors can be connected to any of the desired circuits through the safety sockets provided on the top of the kit for each resistor separately. Accuracy ± 5% . The specifications of each resistor are printed on the top panel of the kit. Mounted in moulded box.
Heat Transfer In Aagitated Vessel
The unit consists of a vessel with class wool insulation ail around. A helical coil made of copper is fixed inside the vessel. A motorized agitator is fixed at the center of the coil. The vessel is provided with an electric heater and a controller is also provided for vessel. Heater heats water in the jacket while cold water is circulated through coll. Temperature of circulated water and water In vessel Is measured and thus heat transfer coefficient at various agitator speeds can be determined.

Centrifugal Blower Test Rig
The apparatus consists of a spiral casing, which houses an impeller. Impeller is driven by a variable speed D.C. motor. Three, interchangeable impellers, viz. Microprocessor Photo Colorimeter
Microprocessor Photo Colorimeter is a compact and easy to operate instrument for Photo Colorimeter analysis of any concentration.
The output is available on a 16 x 2 line alphanumeric backlit LCD display in terms of %Transmission (%T), Absorbance (Abs.), Concentration (Conc.) and K Factor.
This instrument has 100 sample storage memory and printer output facility for printing data with any dot matrix printer.
The use of microcontroller has made it extremely versatile and accurate instrument.
10 mm path length matched test tubes are used for sample and blank.
The use of high class standard wide range glass filters covering 400 to 700 nm give extremely good results.
The filter setting is controlled by a rotating disc having 8 filters.
An automatic shutter is provided to stop the light reaching the photocell, when test tube is not inserted in the tube holder.
This increases the life of photocell tremendously.
Facility has been provided to store the last K Factor and the standard concentration value.
User can also enter any known ‘Factor’ for a test, thereby eliminating the need to re-run the standards again and again.

Description
This model uses the same basic assembly as the motor, but is mounted on a baseplate 230 x 90 mm approx. which also carries a hand-drive pulley 120mm. diameter coupled to the smaller dynamo pulley by a rubber belt to give a step-up ration. Electrical output is via a pair of 4mm sockets. The model may also be used as a motor on a 6-8 V D.C. supply.
