Test Tube Caps

Water Cooler Trainer
The apparatus consists of a storage water tank, embraced by evaporator coil of the cooling unit, cooling cycle comprises of a hermetically sealed compressor, air-cooled condenser, a capillary tube as expansion device and an evaporator cell. The stainless steel water tank is provided with insulation on air Sides and a door are provided at the top. Cold water can be taken out from a top provided and inlet water supply is controlled by a bail-operated top. Various measurements provided enable students to determine the theoretical and actual COP, power consumption, actual cooling capacity refrigerant flow and compressor volumetric efficiency of compressor.

Demonstration Dynamo
Description
This model uses the same basic assembly as the motor, but is mounted on a baseplate 230 x 90 mm approx. which also carries a hand-drive pulley 120mm. diameter coupled to the smaller dynamo pulley by a rubber belt to give a step-up ration. Electrical output is via a pair of 4mm sockets. The model may also be used as a motor on a 6-8 V D.C. supply.

Description
A fully dependable sectioning equipment designed for precise sectioning of tissues up to 1 micron thickness. It has a front located feed indicator with cam drive system for accurate feed setting from 1 to 50 microns in steps of 1 micron. Helmholtz coils
Description
Helmholtz Coils are a special arrangement of coils that are placed in such a way as to generate a very uniform magnetic field between them when a current is applied. The strength of the magnetic field is proportional to the number of turns in the coils and the current applied to them. The Helmholtz Coils setup consists of two field coils mounted on a track to provide a uniform magnetic field between the coils. The proper separation for Helmholtz coils is marked on the track. A pair of precision coils and 400 turns of wire are wound on heat resistant former of about 150 mm diameter.

Description

Bridge Rectifier
Bridge Rectifier is made of four diodes connected in a bridge circuit. It is housed in a plastic moulded box. This bridge rectifier converts alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC).
