DESCRIPTION:
The Set-up is designed to study the performance of Submersible Pump. The Set-up consists of a Submersible Pump coupled with electrical motor, supply tank, measuring tank & pipe fittings for closed loop oil circulation. Pressure and Vacuum Gauges are connected on delivery and suction side of pump for the purpose of measurement. The flow rate of water is measured using measuring tank and stop watch provided.EXPERIMENT:

Ruhmkorff Coil
Description
Ruhmkorff Coil produces pulses of high voltage spark from low voltage DC source (6 – 12 V DC). It is suitable for use with gas-filled discharge tubes, vacuum tubes, eudiometers and for general laboratory work. Includes an adjustable vibrator system, primary current polarity reversal, on-off switch, a capacitor enclosed in the box and special alloy contacts. Spark gap at the discharge points can be adjusted by sliding rods back and forth. Spark Length 15 mm.

Description
Cylindrical brass sextant in leather case. The sextand has pull out eyepieces, silvered scale and vernier magnifier on a hinged arm. The brass cover screws onto the base as a handle. The leather case is embossed with a flower on both sides. The case has an attached cover which fastens with a strap. The inside of the case is lined with purple velvet like material. Slip Creep Measurement Apparatus
The apparatus consists of a variable speed D.C. Motor, Driving pulley and Driven pulley of equal diameter. The pulleys are mounted on input shaft (Motor shaft) and output shaft. The driven pulley can slide on the base with bearing block to change initial tension in belt. Brake drum is mounted on output shaft helps to measure power output. The motor speed is varied by dimmerstat. A two channel RPM Indicator is provided to measure speeds of driven and driving pullies respectively.
