Force on a Conductor Balance
Description
To demonstrate that when a current is passed through a conductor in a magnetic field, it is subjected to attraction or repulsion depending upon the direction of current in it. The apparatus consists of a plastic base 160 x 140 mm on which two contact pillars are mounted. Each pillar is provided with an external circuit. A balanced beam is supported by the pillars on two bearings which form the fulcrum. Two screwed masses are provided in the beam system, one moving vertically for the adjustment of sensitivity and the other moving horizontally for the adjustment of the equilibrium position, when no current is flowing. Scale marked 0 to 75 x 1 mm, rider of 1 gm. weight with instruction manual.

Elastic Properties Of Deflected Beam Apparatus
Apparatus consists of a mild steel beam 2.5cm x 3mm in cross section and 100cm long, pinned to two supports 70cm apart situated symmetrically. One of the ends can be fixed or given a known slope by applying a known moment at the end with the help of suspended loads. At the other end also a known moment can be applied. Vertical loads can be applied at various points along the span of the beam. A dial gauge with 25mm travel (with a magnetic base) may be supplied with the apparatus. Apparatus to be supplied should be complete with a supporting stand and a set of weights

Citical Radius of Insulating Material:
At particular radius of insulation over a cylinder, loss of heat is maximum. The unit consists of a G.I. pipe provided with plaster of Paris insulation on out side surface. Four pipes are provided with heater inside having input control. Input to heaters is measured by common voltmeter and ammeter, by controlling input to heaters, it is shown that critical radius of insulation is ratio of thermal conductivity and outside heat transfer co-efficient.

Moving Coil Multi Range Meter
Description
For DC & AC current and voltage. The operation of these meters depend on the reaction of the current circulating in the moving coil and a field of a fixed permanent magnet. Considering the operational nature and design of these instruments. the scale is linear. Ruhmkorff Coil
Description
Ruhmkorff Coil produces pulses of high voltage spark from low voltage DC source (6 – 12 V DC). It is suitable for use with gas-filled discharge tubes, vacuum tubes, eudiometers and for general laboratory work. Includes an adjustable vibrator system, primary current polarity reversal, on-off switch, a capacitor enclosed in the box and special alloy contacts. Stefan Boltzmans Apparatus
The Stefan Boltzmann constant is an important constant in heat transfer. The apparatus determines Stefan Boltzmann constant. The apparatus consists of a hemisphere surrounded by hot water. Hot water is obtained from a water-heating tank. When the blackened disc is inserted at the center of hemisphere, heat is transferred into the disc from hemisphere by radiation and its temperature begins to rise, and from temperature raise rate. (It is measured at the intervals of 5 sec.) Stefan Boltzmann constant is determined.
