The Permeability cup consists of a cup, seal ring and cover ring.
The seal ring is designed to prevent turning when closing the cover.
The Permeability cup is suitable for testing both self-supporting coating and non-self-supporting coatings. Water-vapor transmission is of interest for high humidity conditions.
The wet cup method is thus the reference method for determining water-vapor transmission, if agreed up on otherwise, other procedures or conditions the dry cup method may be used.

Comprises a card mount 90 x 40 mm approximately with three 16 x 9 mm apertures, each containing a diffraction grating replica. The gratings are of 100 lines / mm. 300 lines / mm and 600 lines / mm, respectively and are protected by cover glasses.

Wooden double wheeled pulley
Consisting of a wooden double wheel with flat-bottomed grooves, 150 and 50 mm diameter respectively.
The wheel is pivoted on a spindle 10 mm diameter which projects for a distance of 100 mm so that the apparatus may be clamped to a normal retort stand.
The apparatus is supplied complete with two hooks and 6 meters of cord but without masses and stand.
Air Conditioning Trainer General Cycle Type
