Coriollis Component Of Acceleration
This set up is designed to study coriollis component of Acceleration of a slider crank Mechanism. The apparatus uses hydraulic analogy to represent the rotating slider. It consists of a rotating block with two arms in opposite direction. These tubes can be rotated at various speeds by using a swinging field motor, which also acts as a dynamometer to measure torque applied to rotating tubes. A Perspex window on top cover helps to visualize the process. Rotameter is used to measure water flow rate through tubes. Water is circulated by small monoblaock pump.

Description
Clinometer Handle Compass is a reproduction of an antique Clinometer compass. The Handle Compass gets its name from its "handle" shaped sight, which actually serves two purposes With the compass level, an object can be viewed through the peep sights to determine its magnetic heading. The second and most interesting purpose is when tilting the compass on its side and viewing an object through the sights, its angle of elevation or declination can be found. A horizontal frame is mounted on a rod fitted to a base & carries a steel wire stretched across it, the tension of which can be adjusted by a tightening screw.
A light metal pointer with a counterpoise is attached to the centre of the wire clamp.
A pan is hung from a notch in the pointer and has a hook at its underside from which can be suspended a light weight rectangular frame or a metal clip to hold a micro slide edge.
The tip of the pointer moves over a graduated scale. With rectangular wire frame, slide clip, six micro slides & 3 meters of spare wire.
