Precision Rotary Microtome
Description
A fully dependable sectioning equipment designed for precise sectioning of tissues up to 1 micron thickness. It has a front located feed indicator with cam drive system for accurate feed setting from 1 to 50 microns in steps of 1 micron. Prominent features include independent feed mechanism with automatic safety device, universal knife holder with lateral movement to permit use of entire knife edge, ball and flange type object holder for accurate centering of the specimen and full swing protective cover for easy cleaning and lubrication. The equipment assures smooth operation throughout the long life of the instrument as individual components are manufactured with modern techniques. The microtome razor is fabricated from fine grain steel alloy tested for microstructure and is heat treated to maintain its sharpness and strength. Supplied complete with one razor 120 mm with back and handle, a set of three object holders, one honing plate, oil can, dust cover, in wooden cabinet.

Ohm’s Law Appartus
Description
To demonstrate Ohms Law. Consisting of a wooden enclosure with milliammeter, voltmeter, rheostat, push key and terminal posts. Requires an external battery (not supplied) and a suitable resistance (not supplied). Resistance can be calculated using Ohm’s Law by noting current and voltage. The process control simulator is a special purpose analog simulator with operational amplifiers The simulator permits a detailed analysis of the first order, second order and third order systems and the application of proportional, integral and derivative control to the improvement of their performance. The simulator may be used at high speed for oscilloscope observation or at a low speed for meter observation.

Forced Convection Apparatus
The unit consists of a circular pipe; loosing heat by forced convection to air, being forced through it. Constant heat flux is added to pipe by an electrical heater, provided with input control. The pipe surface temperature is measured at various points along length of pipe. Temperature of air at inlet and outlet of test section are measured. Thus the students can calculate local and overall heat transfer coefficients in forced convection, at various airflow rates and various heat flux values.

Frequency Modulation And Demodulation
This Instrument is design to demonstrate the method to transmit signals via. Electromagnetic transmission and to study the Frequency Modulation and Demodulation. Whole instrument is placed in plastic moulded box and 2 mm banana plug leads are provided for modulation and demodulation connections.

Baby Weighing Balance
A single beam scale, robust steel body with epoxy powder coated parts.
The beam carries a sliding weight to indicate the weight from 0 to 5kg in divisions of 20 grams each.
One hanger and one slotted mass is provided to increase the capacity of the balance.
When only the hanger is suspended from the end of the beam the capacity increases to 10 kg and the reading starts from 5 kg onwards on the scale up to 10 kg.
On adding the slotted mass on to the hanger the capacity increases to 15 kg and the reading starts from 10 kg onwards on the scale up to 15 kg.
The tray is detachable and can be easily replaced in position by sliding on to fixed plate.
Second scale is provided which reads 0 to 1 kg in division of 10 gms.
Making the total capacity of balance 16 kg in to 10 gms.
