Description
An economical and comprehensive set of equipment for ray optics and color experiments using magnetic-backed components that can be used on the whiteboard (included) or any installed steel (magnetic) board. Included a double ended light box contains a 12 V / 20 W halogen lamp, a wall-mount AC adapter, one end carries a cylindrical lens and slots for mounting the three slit diaphragms for ray optics. Charle’s Law Apparatus
Description
To determine co-efficient of expansion of a gas at constant pressure. A glass U-tube with a bulb and stopcock at one end, the other limb being open. An outlet tube from the bottom of the U tube passes through a rubber bung and has a stopcock at the end. The stem below the bulb is graduated 3 x 0.1 ml. An inlet tube with a mohr clip also passes through the bung. A glass water jacket encloses the U tube. All glass parts made of borosilicate glass requires only 20 ml mercury, which is not included.

An anti-lock braking system (ABS) is a safety system that prevents the wheels on a motor vehicle from locking up (or ceasing to rotate) while braking. A rotating road wheel allows the driver to maintain steering control under heavy braking by preventing a skid and allowing the wheel to continue interacting tractively with the road surface as directed by driver steering inputs. ABS offers improved vehicle control and decreases stopping distances on dry and especially slippery surfaces for many drivers, but on loose surfaces like gravel and snow-on-pavement it can slightly increase braking distance, while still improving vehicle control. Stopping a car in a hurry on a slippery road can be very challenging. Anti-lock braking systems (ABS) take a lot of the challenge out of this sometimes nerve-wracking event. In fact, on slippery surfaces, even professional drivers can’t stop as quickly without ABS as an average driver can with ABS.
