Light Kit
Description
Simple kit that helps explain students the principle of reflection and refraction. Using mirrors, lenses, acrylic prism set and a ray box, light can be reflected and refracted in different ways. The acrylic prism set includes a triangular, half-round, double convex and rectangular prism and two double concave prisms all packed in a wooden storage box. Desert Cooler Trainer
Desert Cooler Trainer works on the principle of evaporative cooling. It is used mostly in the dry hot regions; it consists of a fan which sucks the air from atmosphere through the pads which are used in desert coolers very frequently. The difference in DBT & WBT at inlet and outlet can be measured hence the RH from the charts. Also the amount of water evaporated can be calculated by knowing the water level difference in the reservoir.

Motorised Gyroscope Apparatus
The apparatus consists of a rotor mounted in bearings. This rotor is free to rotate about
(i) Its own axis i.e. axis of spin.
(ii) Axis of precession.
(iii) Axis of gyroscopic couple.
The rotor is connected to the variable speed motor. The weight of the motor is balanced by another weight, which is on either side of the rotor. By putting weights on the weight platform torque can be supplied to rotor, which is also called gyroscopic couple.
