Pulse Width Modulation and Demodulation
This Instrument is design to demonstrate the method to transmit signals via. Electromagnetic transmission and to study the Pulse Width Modulation and Demodulation. Whole instrument is placed in plastic moulded box and 2 mm banana plug leads are provided for modulation and demodulation connections.

Thin Cylinder Apparatus
A heavy bench top unit for studying the stress and strain in a thin walled cylinder under internal pressure. A thin walled cylinder is mounted between two support blocks. Internal pistons and seals create oil sealing. A handwheel at one end of the apparatus enables the cylinder end conditions to be adjusted to either open or closed. The internal pressure is adjusted by means of a hydraulic hand pump on the apparatus. An analogue pressure gauge displays the internal pressure whilst a pressure transducer gives feedback to the Data Acquisition Interface and Software supplied. Strain gauges are arranged on the external surface of the cylinder to measure the radial and circumferential surface strain. The strain gauges are at various angles.

Fiber Optics Communication Set
Objective:
To construct an optical transmitter and transmission of signal through Fiber Optics Cable. To construct an Optical Receiver and study the Attenuation of Signal when transmitted from Transmitter to Receiver end. Analog and Digital link can also be studied as this unit is complete with Sine and Square Waves. Bending losses can also be studied.
Features:
Instrument comprises of Microphone Preamplifier stages consists of MIC (Microphone), Preamplifier and Amplifier (Voice is converted to electrical signal and then amplified) and fed to LED (Transmitter) and then through fibre cable, signal is sent to Photodetector (Transistor) and again amplifier and output is sent to Speaker Unit. Power Supply of +6 VDC is used in Amplifier ckt. 2 No. Fiber Optics cables are provided (one of them is 50 cm long and the other is 100 cm long). One more fiber cable of 50mm length having connector at one end is also provided. Connectors a both end of fiber cable are provided for insertion in sockets provided on the front panel. Bending losses can also be studied in long wire.

Specifications
Water stills are carefully designed to produce high purity pyrogen free distilled water. The water still made from 3.3 exp. borosilicate glass comprises of horizontal type boiler, condenser, constant level device, silica sheathed heater, along with stand and clamps.Features
Borosilicate condenser and boiler are with a removable silica sheathed heater and screw threaded connectors for ease of Cleaning. Distillate temperature is approx. between 25° to 45°C which is ensured by an efficient condenser. The stand is powder coated for rust free operation and lustrous appearance. The unit automatically switches off if water level in the boiler falls below heater. Cooling water from the condenser is re-circulated into the boiling chamber, hence saving energy. This heavy duty demountable transformer can be used for the study of transformertheory and many other alternating current phenomena. This kit consists of: 1. A magnetic circuit made of highly permeable U shape metal sheet, which can be closed using two clamps with tightening screws. 2. Section: 40 x 40 mm with 150 mm length and 170 mm height. 3. One coil of 6000 turns with maximum current of 0.2 A. Intermediary coil of 2000 turns output. 4. One coil of 600 turns with maximum current of 2.5 A, which is mainly used to create the primary of transformer. 5.
