Description
Resistance Substitution Box is a convenient instrument for determining the desired resistance values in circuits under design or test. This resistance substitution box has 12 different values 100Ω , 220 Ω , 470 Ω , 1 kΩ , 2 kΩ, 4 kΩ , 10 kΩ , 22 kΩ , 47 kΩ, 100 kΩ , 220 kΩ and 470 kΩ . All resistors are precision 1% resistors and are of 1 watt rating Selected resistor can be attached in any circuit with 4 mm two red safety sockets.

Digital Friability test apparatus is microprocessor based instrument designed to monitor the resistance of tablets to stresses and to decide their suitability for the further processes.
A fix 25 RPM Motor drives the unique Universal acrylic drum(same drum can be used at left or right side of the instrument).
Digital microprocessor based counter is provided to pre-set the revolution & to automatically stop the motor with alarm.
These features eliminate the tedious calculation of timer mode.
In Power failure, the memory of the microprocessor remembers the tie left and complete the cycle after power resumes.
Easy loading and unloading of the drum with positive grip is provided.
Unloading of the drum after every test is required to remove the traces of loose dust on the drum for accurate calculation of friability.

Stefan Boltzmans Apparatus
The Stefan Boltzmann constant is an important constant in heat transfer. The apparatus determines Stefan Boltzmann constant. The apparatus consists of a hemisphere surrounded by hot water. Hot water is obtained from a water-heating tank. When the blackened disc is inserted at the center of hemisphere, heat is transferred into the disc from hemisphere by radiation and its temperature begins to rise, and from temperature raise rate. (It is measured at the intervals of 5 sec.) Stefan Boltzmann constant is determined.
