Description
The motor consists of a two pole armature mounted between the ends of two bar magnets. The armature has a two section commutator and a pair of slip-rings on its shaft and is so constructed that the wire cannot slip off the iron core. The upper bearing and brushes for the commutator are mounted on a strong upright. Separate brushes are provided for the commutator and for slip rings and each are connected to a terminal. The magnets are held in position by thumb screws.

Signal Generator
1 Hz to 100 KHz in five decade ranges selected by rotary switch named as frequency Multiplier. Sine Triangular and Square waveforms selected by push switch with LED indication. ‘Gravity’ By Free Fall Apparatus
Consists of an electromagnet housed in a plastic moulded case with connections for an external timer, with a heavy steel sphere, and a platform unit.
For determination of 'g' (the gravitational acceleration) by free fall method.
The apparatus consists of an electromagnet which is housed in a plastic moulded case with 4 mm socket connections provided to energize the magnet and another pair of sockets for connection to a timer in use.
To perform the experiment, an electromagnet is energized and a metal sphere is attached.
As soon as the power to the electromagnet is switched off the sphere falls and the unit activates the timer.
When the sphere hits the platform, which is connected to a micro switch, the timer stops and the time of fall can be determined.
For use with compatible timer (product code LBTM).
Unit conveniently attaches to all commonly used stands (stand not supplied, see Stand & Rod Assembly - Value Pack STD-RD).
Interference Undercutting
The board shows the demonstration of this phenomenon of Interference and Undercutting. When we rotate the teeth in anticlockwise direction, as the teeth is undercut is gives us a smooth working. When we give a rotation in clockwise direction, we can observe that the rack tip will be resisted by the tooth flank thus giving interference.

Description
To demonstrate that when a current is passed through a conductor in a magnetic field, it is subjected to attraction or repulsion depending upon the direction of current in it. Cam Analysis Apparatus
The apparatus is designed to study the cam profiles and performance of cam and follower system. The apparatus consists of a shaft supported by ball bearings upon which three different types of cams can be mounted.
The push rod for follower is supported vertically, which can adopt three different types of followers. Cams and followers can be changed easily. A variable speed motor rotates the cam. A dial gauge permits plotting of follower displacement with respect to cam position. By operating the system at different Speeds, jump speed can be found and also the effect of weight and spring force on jump speed can be studied.
