Motorised Governor Apparatus
The unit consists of a base upon which the bearing holders and driving motor are bearing can be fitted in a holders to end conditions for test shafts, viz. Both end fixed and one end free, one end fixed. A Variac provided control of driving motor. The unit demonstrates the phenomenon of whirling of shafts with single rotor. As the test is destructive, after the test cannot be used, hence the unit only demonstrates the principle.
However, results obtained are closer to theory, as compared to those with bare shafts. Also, It can be demonstrated that, after passing whirling speed, shaft again starts running true.

Draining Rack
Draining Rack provides an excellent option for post wash draining of tubes & bottles in the laboratory.
The back plate of this Draining Rack has 20 holes into which pegs are tightened with the help of screw-nuts.
Bottom of the rack is provided with a tray which collects all the waste water drained down which can further be collected in a container via drain tube.

Rotary Pipette Stand
Moulded in Polypropylene, the unique Rotary Pipette Stand holds a maximum of 94 pipettes and rotates on a central vertical axis for convenient selection of any particular pipette.
The lower rotating disc has four concentric troughs with tapered sides and open bottoms that cradle the pipette tips protectively and permit water drops to run off.
The upper disc has a grid pattern concentric with the bottom disc and keeps the pipettes vertical.
Liquids draining off the pipettes are retained on the top of the stationary base by the outer ring.
Our Rotary Pipette Stand can be easily disassembled and reassembled.

Shear Forces occurs when two parallel forces act out of alignment with each other. For example, in a large boiler made from sections of sheet metal plate riveted together, there is an equal and opposite force exerted on the rivets, owing to the expansion and contraction of the plates.
