Solar Wind 3Φ, 2KW Smart Grid
This consists of 2 Microgrids of 2000W &1000W of power generation connected to a main Power Grid with all the components needed to convert a traditional Grid to a Smart so that many experiments can be conducted on this “Smart Grid”. A 3Φ 3KW isolation transformer with power input from utility grid will act as main grid to which 2 Microgrid will be connected through synchronizing panel. Optionally a commercial 3Φ, 2.5KVA Grid Commercial Solar Power Inverter can be added to this experimental setup. By adding 3Φ, 2.5KVA commercial solar inverter, when the experimental setup is not used by student, it may be used to generate power.

Spectroscope
Description

Dissolution Rate Test Apparatus
Description
Dissolution rate test apparatus is designed to carry out simultaneously SIX TESTS of dissolution rate of tablets & capsules as per USP standards. Dissolution Rate Test Apparatus consists of water bath made of transparent acrylic fitted with an inbuilt water circulation system. Machine has a DUAL TEMP. SENSOR system which controls both water bath temperature within +/- 0.1º C & senses the temperature of jars. The motor is digitally controlled to give speed between 20 to 160 RPM precisely within +/- 1 RPM. The micro-processor also have digital timer to control test timings from 00:01 to 99:59 (HH:MM). The machine is fitted with a LCD Display which keeps the user updated about the RPM, TIME & TEMPERATURE all the time. The unbreakable jars prevent accidents related to breakage & spilling of media in the lab. The jars have acrylic lids which allow passing of stirring shaft. Earth, Neutral And Live Board Demonstration
Description
This apparatus is an effective demonstration of how the earth wire and fuse act together to protect both the user and the appliance. When the appliance is connected correctly and the LEDs in the appliance will illuminate to show the appliance is working. A fault is then demonstrated by swapping the live wire from inside the appliance to the case to show either the fuse melts (protecting the user and appliance) or in the case of no earth wire, the LEDs illuminate to indicate the passage of current through the person to ground. The fuse is easily visible and can be seen to ‘blow’ when a fault occurs.The unit is supplied with 10 m of fuse wire and full instructions. A 12 V DC power supply is required. Connections are made via 4 mm shrouded sockets.
Frequency Modulation And Demodulation
This Instrument is design to demonstrate the method to transmit signals via. Electromagnetic transmission and to study the Frequency Modulation and Demodulation. Whole instrument is placed in plastic moulded box and 2 mm banana plug leads are provided for modulation and demodulation connections.
