Expansion bar is fixed to one upright and moves a pointer on the other, when heated With scale reading 0 to 90°, supplied with one each, aluminium, brass and iron expansion bars. Comprising two castmetal uprights linked by a pair of parallel plated metal support rods and supporting an expansion bar at the top. Supplied with expansion bars. Comprising two cast-iron uprights, height 18 cm linked by two nickel plated rods supporting on expansion bar, length 38 cm fixed to one upright and resting on a friction pointer placed at the other. Phase Shift Keying Modulation and Demodulation
This Instrument is design to demonstrate the method to transmit signals via. Electromagnetic transmission and to study the Phase Shift Keying Modulation and Demodulation. Whole instrument is placed in plastic moulded box and 2 mm banana plug leads are provided for modulation and demodulation connections.
Technical Specification:-
1. Fixed Output DC Regulated Power Supplies of ±12 V and ±5 V.
2. Built in Carrier wave Generator (Sine Wave) of 5 Vpp, 22 KHz ± 5% Frequency range with output on sockets.
3. Built in Data Generator using IC 7490 with four modulating signal outputs on sockets.
4. IC TL084 & IC 7486 are using for PSK demodulator.
5. Circuit diagram is printed on the milky white top panel and important connections are brought out on the sockets.

Pelton Wheel Turbine Test Setup
DESCRIPTION:
Pelton Wheel Turbine is only impulse water turbine now in common use named in honor of Sir L.A. Pelton (1829-1908) of California, USA. It is a tangential flow impulse turbine. The water strikes the buckets along the tangent of the runner. The energy available at the Inlet of the Turbine is only kinetic energy. The Pressure at the Inlet and Outlet of the atmospheric. This turbine is used for high heads. The Present Set-up consists of a runner. The buckets are mounted on the runner. The water is fed to the turbine, through SS nozzle with a SS spear, by means of Centrifugal Pump, tangentially to the runner. Row of water into turbine is regulated by adjusting the spear position by the help of a given hand wheel the runner is directly mounted on one end of a central SS shaft and other end is connected to a brake arrangement. The circular window of the turbine casing is providing with a transparent acrylic sheet for observation of flow on to the buckets. This runner assembly is supported by rigid MS structure. Load is applied to the turbine with the help of this brake dynamometer so that the efficiency of the turbine can be calculated. Pressure Gauge is fitted at the Inlet of the turbine to measure the total supply head to the turbine.EXPERIMENT:
