Linear Expansion Apparatus
Consisting of a metal rod, 500mm in length and 4.5mm diameter, enclosed in a well lagged, nickle plated brass tube with three tubules for steam, inlet, outlet and thermometer.
The metal rod to be studied is supported in the steam jacket by detachable conical cups situated at each end of the tube.
The apparatus is carried on a heavy gauge channel base at one end of which is an adjusting screw.
At the opposite end is a micrometer screw reading to 0.01mm for measuring the expansion.
Supplied complete with copper, brass & iron rods but without thermometer.

Description
A sectioning equipment, economical and simple, yet providing all facilities of a standard rotary microtome. The internal mechanism is fully enclosed in a sturdy metal case, for protection against dust and grit & is driven by a handle which can be locked in position. A ball & socket type movement permits use of the entire knife edge. With a feed range of 1 to 25 microns in steps of 1 micron. Tablet Friability Test Apparatus
Digital Friability test apparatus is microprocessor based instrument designed to monitor the resistance of tablets to stresses and to decide their suitability for the further processes.
A fix 25 RPM Motor drives the unique Universal acrylic drum(same drum can be used at left or right side of the instrument).
Digital microprocessor based counter is provided to pre-set the revolution & to automatically stop the motor with alarm.
These features eliminate the tedious calculation of timer mode.
In Power failure, the memory of the microprocessor remembers the tie left and complete the cycle after power resumes.
Easy loading and unloading of the drum with positive grip is provided.
Unloading of the drum after every test is required to remove the traces of loose dust on the drum for accurate calculation of friability.
