Slip Creep Measurement Apparatus
The apparatus consists of a variable speed D.C. Motor, Driving pulley and Driven pulley of equal diameter. The pulleys are mounted on input shaft (Motor shaft) and output shaft. The driven pulley can slide on the base with bearing block to change initial tension in belt. Brake drum is mounted on output shaft helps to measure power output. The motor speed is varied by dimmerstat. A two channel RPM Indicator is provided to measure speeds of driven and driving pullies respectively.

Description
A fully dependable sectioning equipment designed for precise sectioning of tissues up to 1 micron thickness. It has a front located feed indicator with cam drive system for accurate feed setting from 1 to 50 microns in steps of 1 micron. Prominent features include independent feed mechanism with automatic safety device, universal knife holder with lateral movement to permit use of entire knife edge, ball and flange type object holder for accurate centering of the specimen and full swing protective cover for easy cleaning and lubrication. The equipment assures smooth operation throughout the long life of the instrument as individual components are manufactured with modern techniques. The microtome razor is fabricated from fine grain steel alloy tested for microstructure and is heat treated to maintain its sharpness and strength. BOD Incubator is designed for low temperature incubation and determination of Bio Chemical Oxygen Demand (B.O.D). The BOD Incubator comes with a double wall construction. The Inner chamber is made of richly anodized aluminum or highly polished stainless steel with two / three removable perforated shelves. The exterior chamber of the BOD Incubator is made of thick mild steel sheet duly finished in enamel paint. Outer double wall door is provided with magnetic gasket and lock & key arrangement. The inner door is made out of clear acrylic sheet allowing inspection of material in the chamber without disturbing the chamber temperature. Door operated inner illumination has been provided. The gap between walls of equipment are filled with glass wool for temperature insulation. The cabinet is mounted on castors. The temperature in the BOD Incubator is controlled by a sensitive thermostat from 5oC to 50oC ± 1oC. For lower temperature working, a standard cooling unit with sealed compressor with protective devices has been provided below the chamber for safe and efficient working. Heating arrangement has made within the chamber for higher temperature.
