Single Phase Bridge Firing Circuit
Specification
• Line synchronized IC based linear firing circuit for SCR applications. • Line synchronization achieved by 230 / 9V step down transformer. • Four nos. firing pulses to trigger four SCRs. • 1:1:1 Pulse transformer used for gate pulse isolation. • One no. potentiometer used to vary the firing angle (180° - 0°). • All four pulses terminated on the front panel for external SCR device module interface. • Carrier logic circuit implemented for SCR self start, carrier frequency 4KHz. • Debounce logic circuit implemented for SCR gate pulse ON/OFF. • One no. toggle switch for gate pulse ON/OFF. • 230V, 5Hz AC input, fuse provided for over load protection. • One no. ON/OFF switch with LED indication for power ON/OFF. • Provision to control the firing angle through external 0 to 5V DC.

Digital Colorimeter
Description
The basic set-up of the colorimeter is: LED light source: Produces polychromatic light over the entire visible region, 45 Broad spectrum filter: The colorwheel has nine different filters. The filter employed is selected by wavelength. Each filter will produce monochromatic light at a specified peak wavelength with a bandpass of 20 mm. The filters enable the user to perform tests from 400 to 680 nm. Cuvette Holder: It holds the inserted cuvette during testing. It is imperative the cuvette be consistently oriented in the holder. Round cells usually have orientation markings to correctly position the cuvette. Detector: A silicon photo diode is used as the detector. The photo detector current will change as a function of light energy. Display:The current signal from the detector is converted to a numerical value, absorbance and is shown on led display

The VIBLAB is designed to help in conducting various experiments to illustrate and verify the principles and relations involved in the study of vibrations.
This apparatus enables a comprehensive range of Vibration Experiments to be conducted on single basic framework. The frame is robustly constructed from channel section. The experiments are specially designed for quick and easy assembly on to the framework using a minimum amount of common engineering tools. To reduce changeover time on tube more advanced free and forced vibration experiments, large knurled knobs are used to clamp components on the frame and many components are common to several experiments.
All of the referenced groups of experiments are available separately making it possible to procure them individually & if required to build up a complete set over a period of time.
