Shear Centre Apparatus
Apparatus consists of sturdy base frame and Channel, Equal angle, Semicircle and Z-Section are supplied with apparatus. Standard length of each of the four sections in M. S. is supplied. Each is provided with end clamp for fixing to the rigid bracket. A special load hanger is provided so as to change the load position so that with the help of two dial-gauges, the vertical plane of Shear-centre for the particular section can be determined.

Description
The basic set-up of the colorimeter is: LED light source: Produces polychromatic light over the entire visible region, 45 Broad spectrum filter: The colorwheel has nine different filters. The filter employed is selected by wavelength. Each filter will produce monochromatic light at a specified peak wavelength with a bandpass of 20 mm. The filters enable the user to perform tests from 400 to 680 nm. Cuvette Holder: It holds the inserted cuvette during testing. It is imperative the cuvette be consistently oriented in the holder. Round cells usually have orientation markings to correctly position the cuvette. Detector: A silicon photo diode is used as the detector. DESCRIPTION:-
The Set-up is designed to verify Reynold’s Apparatus experimentally. The Apparatus consists of a glass tube which one end having bell mouth entrance connected to a water tank. At the other end of the glass tube a cock is provided to vary the rate of flow. Flow rate of water can be measured with the help of Measuring Cylinder and Stop Watch, supplied with the set-up. A capillary tube is introduced centrally in the bell mouth. To this tube dye is fed from a small container, placed at the top of Constant head Tank, through polythene tubing.EXPERIMENTS:-
